Welcome!
My name is Matthäa and I’m a Yoga and Meditation teacher based in Berlin. My mother introduced me to the practice of Yoga many years ago, and I have been in love with it since. After completing my first 200h teacher training for Hatha and Vinyasa Flow, it took my self-practice to the next level, but I also discovered how much calmness, bliss & joy teaching brings to me and fell even deeper in love with. Followed by many different trainings after, I enjoy fully immersing in teaching these holistic practices that are an integral part of my own life.
In my Vinyasa classes I teach intuitive movement with a strong emphasis on body-mind-connection in āsana, enhancing the practice with breathing exercises prānāyāma and guided meditation. Guiding you through a safe class, respecting the body’s boundaries and working on a clean alignment, but still incorporating challenging sequences, to make you feel the power of your own body.
My passion is the pure essence of Yin Yoga. Aiming to create a safe space for you to surrender into the softness of body and mind, while fostering the flow of Chi, life force. Working in tune with the Meridians and practicing Acupressure based on Traditional Chinese Medicine to enrich the practice.
